The Grad Mobile

WHAT IS THE GRAD MOBILE?

In March 2020, TheStageTruck was repurposed in response to Covid-19. It became the most talked about innovation when it became the first solution available for providing socially distant custom graduations for hundreds of college and high school (and middle school and elementary school) spring graduates.

What started out to be a fun and admittedly KITSCHY endeavor, ended up providing more than 400 graduates, their families, and friends a meaningful graduation experience to help them commemorate earning their degrees during the quarantine months of May and June 2020.

Winner of The Blue Hen 17&43 Award presented by the University to Delaware for Most Promising Venture.

    2020 HIGHLIGHTS

    THE GRAD MOBILE ON WBALTV

“It was a great combination of pomp and circumstance and whimsy and creativity. All the safety of social distancing and the honor of a private ceremony, broadcast to our friends and loved ones. It was all of the celebration without the stress of the big day.”

    Paul G.

“Michael made us all laugh and participate in the ceremony, creating an event that the graduates loved and we all appreciated. 5-star rating from every graduate, parent and guest in attendance. Kudos to TheGradMobile!”

    Sheronda Curtis

“If I have to attend another long, boring graduation, I will gouge my eyes out. As a 40-year career university professor, I’ve been to many, many graduations and this was the best one I have ever attended.”

Dr. A. Rubin, Professor and Grandpa
